Data Scientist
We are looking for an Data Scientist to join the broader AI team at Škoda Auto, focusing on developing custom applications for the manufacturing domain. In this position, you will have the opportunity to create AI/ML solutions whose impact you can directly observe as they transform production processes and influence daily operations.
What will you do?
- Develop applications in Python using modern AI/ML frameworks.
- Work with data – from analysis to integration.
- Test machine learning models, AI pipelines, and code.
- Actively contribute to the design of AI-related technical features.
- Collaborate on cloud projects using Azure or AWS.
What must you know and have?
- Hands-on experience with Python and machine learning (ML) methods.
- Proficiency in Docker and Docker Compose.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Strong understanding of data (both structured and unstructured) and AI concepts.
- Knowledge of REST API.
- Knowledge of libraries scikit-learn, pandas and llama-index•Experience with prompt design and RAG techniques.
- Willingness to travel to Mladá Boleslav at least once a week.
- Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, or AWS is an advantage.
