Solution Architect / IT Consultant for conversational AI

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect / IT Consultant with a technical background and expertise in Conversational AI to join the team supporting Škoda Auto. Your role will be to technically lead the development and direction of Škoda's chatbot, Laura.

You will analyse business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and create the solution architecture. Your role will be to be the bridge between business and developers, whereby you will be involved in the planning, design and implementation of new functionalities.

Key skills:

• Define and document the technical architecture of the Laura chatbot, including integration pipelines and cloud solutions.
• Design and evaluate technical solutions for new functionalities with an emphasis on their feasibility and scalability.
• Perform technical analysis for new use cases, propose optimal solutions and present them to stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for developers.
• Participate in PI planning, prioritize and structure functionalities into 3-month increments (SAFe methodology).
• Create documentation, diagrams (e.g. EA, ArchiMate) and technical specifications (Pflichtenheft).
• Support the deployment of new functionality and architectural changes.
• Communicate with business department, with developers and other departments to align expectations and ensure delivery.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect, IT Consultant, or similar role.
• Proven experience with Conversational AI solutions and cloud architecture (e.g., Google Vertex AI, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with enterprise architecture tools.
• Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., Postman) and concepts (REST APIs, XML schemas, service-oriented architecture).
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with SAFe and agile methodologies, along with an understanding of the waterfall approach.
• Ability to create technical documentation and diagrams.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Advantage:

• Experience in the automotive industry, ideally from Škoda Auto or VW Group.
• Knowledge of Jira task management tools.
